So many bad reviews on this but it’s 5 stars for me. I love it. Took me about an hour and a half to put together by myself. Here are some tips:If the holes don’t line up...try putting the piece on the other side. (The 2 side panels for instance). The instructions kinda suck but if you take your time looking at each piece right before you screw it in to make sure the next piece will attach to it properly, then your good. The cabinets DO close correctly if you put it together correctly. See pics..The “female” metal piece that screws underneath the stand needs to be all the way to the front in order for the “male” metal piece attached to the cabinet to secure itself. (All the way to the front meaning...the piece is adjustable, the hole for the screws is elongated so your able to adjust it)Each set of hardware comes with a letter sticker so you know where it goes...One of the packs of screws you don’t even use (Can’t remember what letter it was). It’s a good idea to cut a small slit in each bag of screws/hardware before hand to make the job easier...I was missing 2 screws for one of the handles and 3 of the screws for the extension bar (that keeps the cabinet from just flopping down when you open it). Luckily I have saved screws over the years from all of the other furniture I’ve put together “Ikea” for example. All pieces are numbered with a red stamped number... some are hard to read but it’s a good idea to put them in some kind of order to make it easier to find. You will need a battery operated screw driver or else your arm will be sore. You will need a flat head screw driver for the cam locks and a Phillips screw driver for a few of the small screws. I did have to drill one tiny pilot hole for the hinge because the original hole was about a centimeter off.The box is 85lbs and it was super dirty from shipping so i basically had to roll it into my house (I’m a small 5’5 115 lb woman). I put an old sheet down and rolled the box onto it in my entryway Then I took everything out and put it in an open area and put each piece in order. This really is a beautiful contemporary clean looking cabinet that doesn’t look cheap. It has a wood grain look to it which makes it look nicer and it is definitely black... (not brown/black like Ikea) that fits my 75” tv perfectly.
